Mr. Issam Fakhr Eddin, President of the Jordan Restaurant Association, participated in the second phase workshops of the Economic Modernization Vision, held at the Royal Hashemite Court. These workshops aim to evaluate progress three years after the vision's launch, under supreme Royal directives.
Intensive sessions focused on the tourism sector, which falls under the "Jordan, A Global Destination" driver. Experts and representatives from both public and private sectors discussed challenges and opportunities, in addition to reviewing proposed initiatives and impact measurement indicators. The primary goal of these discussions is to accelerate implementation and achieve tangible results on the ground, thereby ensuring the advancement of tourism service quality and infrastructure, and enhancing Jordan's competitiveness as a global tourist destination.
The workshops highlighted Jordan's strengths, such as the diversity of its tourist sites (religious, historical, natural), suitable weather, and ease of access. Furthermore, emphasis was placed on the sector's main objectives and initiatives for developing sites, streamlining procedures, and improving marketing.
