
In accordance with the provisions of Article (14) of the Amended Bylaw No. (59) of 2025, the newly elected Board of Directors of the Jordan Tourism Restaurants Association (JTRA) held a meeting last week to formally distribute administrative positions among its members.
The meeting resulted in the election of Mr. Essam Fakhriddin as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Fakhriddin is the owner of ATICO Fakhreldin Group, which operates a portfolio of prestigious five- and four-star restaurants. Mr. Haitham Goussous, owner of Romero and a group of four- and three-star establishments, was elected Vice President. Furthermore, Mr. Waddah Dawoudi, owner of the Kababji restaurant chain, was named Treasurer, and Mr. Hassan Madi, owner of Cash Tourism Restaurants, was appointed Secretary.
The Board of Directors also includes the following members: Hassan Abu El Filat (Al-Moheet Restaurant Chain), Bassam Ka’wash (Al-Sharq Abu Ahmad Restaurant), Adel Marei (Narbeesh Coffee Shop), Rana Houri (Crumz Restaurants), and Raed Bdair (Al-Daya’a Restaurant Chain).
The elected board members bring over two decades of cumulative professional experience in the restaurant and tourism sector. This extensive background reflects a profound level of practical and administrative expertise, bolstering the Board’s capacity to navigate the sector's dynamic variables and challenges.
The newly formed Board reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the Association’s mission to support the tourism restaurant sector. The Board pledged to focus on developing the business environment, enhancing service quality, and elevating the overall competitiveness of the industry.
