Jordan Restaurant Association Initiates Steps to Activate Tourism Employment Platform in Cooperation with Ministry of Tourism and Tourism Associations

In a framework of joint cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and various Jordanian tourism associations, the Jordan Restaurant Association (JRA), the supervising body for the "Siyahajobs.jo" tourism employment platform, has begun implementing a series of meetings with different tourism associations. The effort, attended by a representative of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (MOTA), resulted in its first phase with a joint meeting held with human resources managers in Jordanian hotels, in coordination with the Jordan Hotel Association (JHA).

The meeting aimed to introduce HR managers to the Siyahajobs platform and the registration mechanism for populating it with available vacancies and connecting them with job seekers. This initiative contributes to enhancing employment opportunities and developing specialized human resources in the tourism and hospitality sector, paving the way for new horizons of development.

It is worth noting that the Siyahajobs platform is a specialized and pioneering Jordanian platform in the fields of employment and training for the tourism sector. It provides its services to various tourism service providers, such as hotels, restaurants, tourism and travel agencies, bazaars and handicrafts, and tourist transportation, in addition to listing other sector-related jobs and providing qualified personnel and diverse training and development opportunities.
