The Jordanian Restaurants Association (JRA) held the first meeting of its Human Resources Committee yesterday, chaired by the JRA Director General, Mrs. Eliana Ja'neini. The meeting focused on discussing the HR strategic plan and enhancing competencies within the tourism restaurant sector.
During the meeting, the JRA reviewed the consulting services it will provide to support HR management strategies, improve work environments, and strengthen recruitment and training policies. Participants, including HR managers and training managers from tourism restaurants, discussed the challenges facing HR managers, with a focus on finding sustainable solutions in cooperation with relevant authorities.
The meeting concluded with several recommendations aimed at stimulating employment and training initiatives, and monitoring labor market developments to ensure the sustainability of the sector. The JRA affirmed its commitment to supporting workers in the sector through specialized training programs and initiatives that enhance the work environment, contributing to improving the quality of services provided to patrons of tourism restaurants.
